Another Advertiser Abandons Limbaugh

The online data-backup company Carbonite has become the sixth advertiser to sever its ties to The Rush Limbaugh Show in the wake of Limbaugh’s repeated personal attacks on Sandra Fluke, a Georgetown University Law School student, Think Progress is reporting.
Limbaugh posted an apology on his website earlier today, but these efforts at mitigating the ongoing PR firestorm were apparently insufficient to keep Carbonite on board.
Carbonite CEO David Friend issued a statement via his company’s Facebook page earlier this evening, saying, “No one with daughters the age of Sandra Fluke, and I have two, could possibly abide the insult and abuse heaped upon this courageous and well-intentioned young lady. Mr. Limbaugh, with his highly personal attacks on Miss Fluke, overstepped any reasonable bounds of decency.”
Think Progress is keeping a running tally of companies who will no longer be advertising on Limbaugh’s program here.
